His work centres on decision defensibility: whether a governance decision can be reconstructed, justified and evidenced under regulatory examination twelve months after it was taken.

Before founding the practice, he held senior risk, security and audit roles at Michelin, GSK and Haleon. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management, sits on the Ethos Institute Advisory Board, and is a member of the Forbes Technology Council. He writes on risk governance for Forbes, CIO.com, CSO Online, ISC2, ISACA, and InformationWeek.
